While you are a true team player, you are also confident working independently on complex physical security challenges, starting from understanding where threats originate and how technical, organisational, and structural measures must come together., * A completed technical bachelor's or master's degree (e.g. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on weak current systems, or Security Management); * A minimum of 3 years of experience in a security-focused environment, preferably within the system integrator world or advisory engineering firms; * Effective communication and advisory skills and a proactive mindset and eagerness to keep learning; * Currently living in Hessen, Germany, with flexibility towards travelling to the Netherlands when needed to align with the global team; * Familiarity with security systems and design tools such as Revit and AutoCAD, and affinity with organisational, architectural/ civil, and electronic security measures. ## Description As a Physical Security Engineer, you will be involved from start to finish in the advice and design of physical security solutions in complex specialist projects. You will thus help shape and improve the security solutions of buildings, installations, and organisations by using your expertise., As a Physical Security Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing integrated security strategies for our mission critical facility clients. You will work across strategic, tactical, and operational levels to ensure that security measures are not only effective but also aligned with broader organizational goals. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in physical security who are eager to grow within a knowledge-driven environment. Security for us means both protection against threats and preventing unsafe situations within the technical, organisational, and built environment., * Conduct risk analyses to identify strategic threats and inform long-term security planning; * Translate strategic insights into tactical security policies, frameworks, and guidelines; * Design operational security measures covering organisational, architectural/civil, and electronic (weak current/low voltage) security solutions tailored to specific risks and business processes; * Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions, including alignment with system integrators and external advisory partners; * Monitor, evaluate, and refine implemented measures to support continuous improvement, with execution support and implementation guidance as a strong plus.
