Working in SolidWorks, you will bring designs to life in 3D, oversee the manufacture of prototypes, and collaborate across the team on usability and safety testing. This is a role where careful engineering shapes real outcomes. As ViCentra scales, you will help turn concepts into dependable products, documenting each phase, guiding production, and solving the hands-on challenges that stand between a promising idea and a device people can count on. What You'll Take On In your role, you will: * Design and develop new medical devices from concept through to final, manufacturable designs. * Create 3D models in SolidWorks and oversee the manufacture of prototypes. * Provide input on assembly, manufacturability, usability, cost effectiveness, and reliability of parts against product specifications. * Write procedures and give clear instructions to production for new products and assemblies. * Produce reports that document every phase of the design and development lifecycle. * Review reporting undertaken by technicians, and prepare testing and design documentation. * Run GMP process validations and complete the quality system documentation that lets new processes go live with confidence. * Communicate effectively with management, peers, and vendors, and keep current with relevant scientific and technical developments. * Champion compliance with every approved quality process and regulatory, legal, and company standard, because the people who depend on our devices are counting on it. * Bring curiosity, energy, and a keen eye for detail to everything you touch - always hunting for better ways to solve the problems that matter to the people who use our devices. ## Related Videos - [How to Domain Model – An example from manufacturing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/742-how-to-domain-model-an-example-from-manufacturing) - [XR Demystified: Separating Facts from Fiction in 2024](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1117-xr-demystified-separating-facts-from-fiction-in-2024) - [TresJS a new declarative ThreeJS as Vue components](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/543-tresjs-a-new-declarative-threejs-as-vue-components) - [Google Gemma and Open Source AI Models - Clement Farabet](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1354-google-gemma-and-open-source-ai-models-clement-farabet) - [Cross platform Augmented Reality development with React Native](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/160-cross-platform-augmented-reality-development-with-react-native) - [More efficient software for more efficient microchips](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1164-more-efficient-software-for-more-efficient-microchips) ## Related Articles - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [The Netherlands – Europe’s powerhouse for software development?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/31-the-netherlands-europe-s-powerhouse-for-software-development) - [How to Find Tech Jobs in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/279-how-to-find-tech-jobs-in-amsterdam) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [How to Find Tech Jobs in Vienna](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/292-how-to-find-tech-jobs-in-vienna) - [How to land a developer job in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/36-how-to-land-a-developer-job-in-amsterdam)
