## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience.

 * 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in designing and building scalable, distributed systems.
 * Experience with JVM-based languages such as Java, Kotlin or Scala
 * Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
 * Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
 * Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerisation with Docker/Kubernetes).
 * Proficient communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed, cross-functional team environment.
 * Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously in a fast-paced, agile environment.

## Description

* Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software features and services that power the TAAP platform for travel agent partners globally.
 * Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code across the full software development lifecycle, primarily using Java and JVM-based technologies.
 * Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions that shape the direction of the platform.
 * Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
 * Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring platform reliability and performance.
 * Review code from peers and provide constructive technical feedback to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
 * Contribute to the improvement of engineering practices, tooling, and processes within the team.
 * Partner with cross-functional teams across Expedia Group to deliver end-to-end B2B experiences for our travel agent partners.
