You will develop and test firmware for satellite subsystems, support hardware integration, and contribute to programmes deliverables all under direct mentorship from the Director and senior engineers. What You'll Do * Write and debug embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller-based satellite subsystems * Implement serial communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, RS-422 * Develop drivers and HAL layers for sensors, actuators, and peripheral hardware * Support hardware bring-up and integration of embedded boards and flight subsystems * Execute unit tests, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) tests, and integration procedures * Use lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analysers, power supplies * Produce technical documentation, test reports, and firmware design notes * Maintain firmware under Git version control * Contribute to ESA programme milestone reviews and technical deliverables
