Preferred Characteristics * An additional minimum of 2 years' experience in turbomachinery mechanical design engineering * Demonstrated expertise in CAD design and analysis, especially Unigraphics/NX, ANSYS classic. * Demonstrated expertise in rotor design, test, and analysis tools and systems. * Experience in manufacturing, especially high-precision, turbomachinery components. * Experience and familiarity with GD&T principles and reading drawings. * Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and lead small teams. * Strong oral, written, interpersonal and communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems independently. * Ability to independently organize, document, plan and execute simultaneous projects while aligning with business priorities. ## Description The Advanced Lead Engineer - Midframe Structures Design will lead design, analysis, and execution activities for midframe hardware within the Cold Section Structures team.
