Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables. Computer Skills Knowledge of and experience with computer hardware and software; Familiarity with networking concepts and cabling practices; Experience with Microsoft Office products, Office 365 preferred; Knowledge of Microsoft server and workstation operating systems and SQL databases; Familiarity with mobile computing and applications. Provides oversight to the management, maintenance, and security of New Vision's server infrastructure. This position will ensure the smooth operation of servers and related systems, optimize performance, and implement necessary upgrades and patches. This includes ensuring the availability of virtualization hosts, configuring all new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing server environment management. Where applicable, this individual also plans and implements policies and procedures to ensure storage provisioning, efficiency, and maintenance consistent with organizational goals and industry best practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
