Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Commodity Manager - Autonomous Systems (UAS / UAS) - **Company:** SupplyCore Inc. - **Location:** United States (Remote available) - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $85,000.0 - $125,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Data Analysis, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Salesforce.Com, Data Pipelines - **Published:** August 5, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=2dc14aa54411b7c8 ## About the Role * Minimum of 5 years of experience in category management, supplier relations, defense, technical product categories, procurement, or supply chain aligned to the assigned commodity. * Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work / military experience. * Strong ability to translate supplier capabilities, market trends, product knowledge, and customer needs into practical customer solutions, growth strategies, and sales enablement tools. * Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Government contracting, federal procurement processes, contract vehicles, and customer mission requirements within Defense and Federal markets preferred. * Analytical orientation with ability to interpret category performance, margin trends, pipeline activity, customer concentration, supplier capability gaps, and demand signals. * Strong communication and presentation skills; able to brief internal teams and support customer and supplier discussions as the category expert. * Comfortable working cross functionally and collaboratively across Sales, Vendor Management, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, and leadership stakeholders. * Self-driven, organized, and accountable, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple category priorities, pursuits, and stakeholder needs. * Proficiency with CRM and business tools, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). * Ability and willingness to travel by vehicle or air for customer or supplier engagements. * Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (green card holder). ## Description As the Commodity Manager you will serve as the strategic lead for an assigned commodity portfolio, responsible for category growth, market intelligence, solution shaping, opportunity development, and Account Manager enablement. You will translate supplier capabilities, category expertise, market trends, and customer demand signals into actionable growth strategies, customer-focused solutions, sales enablement materials, and pursuit support across BOS and TLS. You will also partner closely with Vendor Management, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, and Strategic Alliance resources where applicable, but does not serve as the primary owner of supplier relationships, supplier portfolio governance, supplier performance ownership, or supplier scorecard administration.
