Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Systems Engineer - **Company:** Expleo - **Location:** Kidderminster, UK - **Contract:** Temporary contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Application Lifecycle Management, Systems Engineering, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Requirements Management, Jama (Software), CodeBeamer, DOORS (Software), Polarion - **Published:** August 13, 2026 - **Apply:** https://uk.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=fd92b821165bed01 ## About the Role * A formal qualification (degree or equivalent) in systems, aerospace, mechanical or related engineering discipline. * Professional membership / Chartered Engineer (CEng) of a relevant institute e.g., Institute of Mechanical Engineers, Royal Aeronautical Society, Institute of Explosive Engineers etc. Essential skills: * A sound understanding of systems engineering principles (ConOps, defining/refining requirements, interface definition, trade studies, verification & validation) * Familiarity with the Systems Engineering V-Model and its application to the design process. * IT literate with experience of working with Microsoft Office tools (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc) * An interest and aptitude in both the theory and practical aspects of engineering and in particular rocket motor design. * An ability to assimilate and evaluate technical information from a wide range of disciplines with a high attention to detail. * An ability to present complex problems clearly and logically to other specialist and non-specialist engineers. * Excellent document/report writing skills. * Proven ability to manage projects through the entire engineering development lifecycle. * Motivated and driven to deliver results according to defined timescales and expected standards. * Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with the customer and other internal technical specialists. * Strong attention to detail. * Positive attitude and work ethic. * Able to manage own time and prioritise tasks. Experience: * Experience in an engineering team environment developing products to meet customer requirements.
