## About the Role

* U.S. citizen
 * Must be able to pass local background checks to attain a Common Access Card for system access
 * Solid understanding of objected-oriented programming
 * Comfortable with high school level geometry concepts
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 * Proficient in MS Office products

Preferred Skills

 * Ability to interpret client requirements into specifications, models, code, and systems
 * Experience with Agile workflow processes, * 2+ years of experience writing Microsoft .NET code (preferably .NET 8 or higher)
 * 1+ years of experience working remotely (primarily camera off)
 * Experience with Git version control
 * Experience with Azure DevOps, Gitlab or similar DevOps platform

Preferred Experience:

 * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
 * Experience using ESRI ArcGIS Pro or similar GIS application
 * Experience writing .NET code for web applications

Required Education:

 * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or cumulative 3-4 years of equivalent work experience in a related position.

Preferred Education:

 * Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education with a major in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), math, science, engineering or similar
 * MCSD or similarly relevant programming certification
 * Security+ certification
 * MOS Certification for MS Office Products

## Description

* Work item analysis - Developer will participate in analyzing work items and providing estimates of work to be done
 * Code development - Successful candidate will be tasked with both writing greenfield code and refactoring legacy code
 * Participate in peer code reviews - This person will help ensure code quality by being an active participant in reviewing pull requests across teams
