Leadership will help remove roadblocks and apply pressure where needed * Proactive, strategic dashboard/reporting design - anticipate what the business will need to see before it's asked for, and surface insights on your own initiative * Partnership with IT on infrastructure, security, and access considerations as data migrates * Managing one direct report who handles much of the hands-on technical build work What Success Looks Like in the First 6-12 Months * Measurable movement on a GTM outcome e.g., a documented reduction in funnel leakage at a specific stage, or a data-backed change that contributed to improved win rate * Visible adoption of AI tools and data fluency practices by at least one team outside RevOps - not just built, but genuinely used * A clear, prioritized migration roadmap. Define which data moves first, and why (partnering with IT and each Ops team) * At least one instance of proactively surfacing a dashboard, metric, or insight that leadership didn't explicitly ask for ## Related Videos - [Data Analytics with Microsoft Fabric: End-to-End Use Case with Data Agents](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1547-data-analytics-with-microsoft-fabric-end-to-end-use-case-with-data-agents) - [AI PowerPlay: Building High-Impact Teams & Transformative Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1005-ai-powerplay-building-high-impact-teams-transformative-solutions) - [Blazing Accessibility Basics](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/568-blazing-accessibility-basics) - [Swapping a Data Warehouse at Runtime: Zero-Downtime Migration Without Changing a Single Client](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100311-swapping-a-data-warehouse-at-runtime-zero-downtime-migration-without-changing-a-single-client) - [Developer Tools for Microsoft Azure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/450-developer-tools-for-microsoft-azure) - [Inside the AI Revolution: How Microsoft is Empowering the World to Achieve More](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/869-inside-the-ai-revolution-how-microsoft-is-empowering-the-world-to-achieve-more) ## Related Articles - [Coffee with Developers - Maria Apazoglou - Making AI understandable for all in production](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/475-coffee-with-developers-maria-apazoglou-making-ai-understandable-for-all-in-production) - [Graph and AI Trends 2026: Why Is AI Running but Not Yet Delivering?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/680-graph-and-ai-trends-2026-why-is-ai-running-but-not-yet-delivering) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Your AI coding tool is getting used.
