 * Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.

## Description

The IT Help Desk specialist will provide technical assistance and answers to users' questions, assisting users by troubleshooting problems, and managing computer hardware or software., * Respond promptly to help desk tickets and support requests via help desk systems, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved efficiently.

 * Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, either remotely or on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
 * Assist in setting up and configuring workstations, printers, and other peripherals for employees.
 * Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem.
 * Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
 * Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions.
 * Collaborate with other staff to research and resolve problems.
 * Collaborate with programmers to explain errors and/or recommend modifications in programs.
 * Arrange services by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
 * Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
 * Performs other related duties as assigned.
