## About the Role

* Proven experience in Ground Segment System Engineering within the space industry.
 * Experience throughout the complete System Engineering lifecycle.
 * Strong experience in Requirements Engineering and requirements management using IBM DOORS or equivalent.
 * Hands-on experience in Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities.
 * Experience with Ground Segment integration, testing and verification campaigns.
 * Knowledge of ECSS engineering standards and engineering reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
 * Experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and system/interface engineering.
 * Experience with Configuration Management and requirements traceability.
 * Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Enterprise Architect is considered an asset.
 * Experience with Linux and scripting (Python/Bash) is an advantage.
 * Previous experience in Earth Observation, Copernicus, ESA or EUMETSAT programmes is highly desirable.
 * Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

## Description

* Contribute to the engineering, integration, verification and validation of complex satellite Ground Segment systems for next-generation Earth Observation missions.
 * Support the definition, analysis and maintenance of system and ground segment requirements, ensuring end-to-end traceability.
 * Contribute to system architecture, interface definition and Ground Segment design activities.
 * Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities and maintain engineering models.
 * Prepare, execute and document Integration, Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Develop test specifications, test procedures, verification reports and support system verification campaigns.
 * Participate in technical reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, IVVR and Operational Readiness Reviews.
 * Support anomaly investigation, configuration management and engineering documentation.
 * Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
