He or she will be joining a Video Conferencing organization to help support collaboration devices and their Android/Linux-based conferencing products. The Networking Software Engineering will be responsible with developing, enhancing and troubleshooting networking functionality on Android and Linux-based collaboration devices. He or she will work at the OS and platform level to implement and modify networking stack components, including TCP/IP, UDP, routing, DNS, DHCP, proxy services and network authentication mechanisms. On a daily basis, the Networking Software Engineer will be responsible for the below: Design, implement, and support enterprise networking capabilities such as 802.1X authentication, EAP methods, network onboarding, and multi-network/subnet connectivity. Debug complex network connectivity issues using packet analysis, system logs, and network monitoring tools to identify root causes and drive resolutions. Collaborate with software, platform, and systems engineers to ensure reliable device communication across wired, wireless, and enterprise network environments. Create and maintain automated tests, unit tests, and validation frameworks for networking features using Google Test and Python. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and implementation planning for new networking features and enhancements.
