Certification Requirements * Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire. * Working toward an applicable vendor or platform certification, such as: * Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) * Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD) * Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) * Sun Certified Professional * Red Hat certification * Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) * Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) * Another relevant technical certification Preferred Qualifications * Working knowledge of the iReport reporting tool. * Working knowledge of JasperReports Server 5.6 or later. * Knowledge of CMMI process areas, requirements, and work products. * Ability to analyze CMMI requirements and determine effective methods for meeting them. ## Description OST, Inc. is seeking a NROWS Software Engineer II to support and enhance the Navy Reserve Order Writing System (NROWS). The engineer will design, develop, test, document, and implement Java-based software solutions that improve data quality, correct deficiencies, satisfy mandated requirements, and deliver system enhancements. This position works within a collaborative development team to ensure NROWS continues to meet its functional, technical, and operating-environment requirements.
