Requirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills and abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below.

 * 8 years of experience, including 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory or management position
 * BA or BS in MIS, CIS or relevant work experience
 * Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
 * Technical problem solving and troubleshooting
 * Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills
 * Strong understanding of the Microsoft development landscape and web development
 * Experience delivering custom developed enterprise solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 * ITIL Foundation certification preferred
 * PMP Certification preferred
 * Experience in O&G preferred, specifically in the Operational aspect of the industry
 * Strong understanding of the following technologies
 * ASP.NET MVC
 * JavaScript
 * SQL Server
 * Azure Dev Ops

 2. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

## Description

The Manager of Software Development analyzes current technical and operational processes along with existing technology platforms. Responsible for organizing, planning and resolving issues influencing the successful completion of assigned projects. Possesses skills in negotiation, presentation, collaboration and relationship management to be able to develop solutions that meet the needs of the business while delivering high performing integrated solutions., * Manage multiple development groups and engage with many business units

 * Responsible for task prioritization and resource allocation.
 * Responsible for capital project planning, estimation, and forecasting.
 * Career path development for team members including gap analysis of team's strengths and weaknesses to determine areas for growth.
 * Support and maintenance budgeting.
 * Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
