We're seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join a scrappy team dedicated to the continued development of our internal AI ecosystem, including tooling for autonomous coding and agentic automation. To succeed on this team you will need to be curious, an excellent communicator, of a strong product mindset, be able to go from idea to implementation, and take ownership and pride in your work., * An AI mindset; enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and their practical implementations * Creative problem-solving skills with an ability to simplify workflows into modular, reusable automation components * Raw intellectual horsepower * 1-2 years of experience taking AI systems into production or 2-4 years of experience with traditional ML * Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related technical degree * Experience using and optimizing AI coding assistants in a collaborative production environment * Strong stakeholder and cross-functional communication skills; able to gather workflow requirements and convert them into technical automation. * Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance, * Practical experience enabling agents, skills, MCP, and other emerging AI technologies in professional environment * Experience with process automation, event-driven architecture, and a modular / "unix daemon" mindset on software * Experience in hyper growth startup-like environments, with demonstrated success in scaling and maturing software development processes * Familiarity with AWS * Use your cover letter to demonstrate how and why you're enthusiastic about AI ## Description * Propose, prototype, and deploy LLM-based agentic systems that help solve real world problems, leveraging the latest state-of-the-art techniques in the field * Work cross-functionally with different business lines across Anduril to help discover and scope new solutions * Develop and maintain data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model-serving components that support applied AI use cases across the yard. * Learn and evangelize.
