## About the Role

* Less than twelve (12) months of experience in analytics, data science, and business intelligence
 * Experience in developing algorithms, predictive analytics, or statistical models is required
 * Experience in analyzing large data sets that have complex designs that are unstructured, structured, and semi-structured is also required
 * Experience in the use of statistical packages is required
 + Experience in the areas of medical or health services is preferred
 * Bachelor's degree in a related field or any non-related field along with a certification in data science from an accredited institution is required

Key Qualifications

 * Working knowledge and understanding in the following areas:
 + Manipulating large datasets and using database and general-purpose programming language (such as Hadoop MapReduce, Python, JavaScript, or other big data frameworks, Java)
 + Basic principles of distributed computing and/or distributed databases
 + Understanding new concepts down to the theorems and to come out with original solutions to mathematical issues
 + One or more business/functional areas
 + Diagnosis and procedure coding and medical terminology
 + Managed care, claims payment processes, and insurance terminology
 + Implementation of LLM Models and GenAI solutions
 * Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 * In addition to advanced analytic skills, this role is proficient at integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, architecting specialized databases and computing environments, and communicating end results
 * Proven ability to:
 + Demonstrate a commitment to support strategic priorities to become a 5 Star Health Plan and incorporate LEAN principles into daily work
 + Multi-task while maintaining careful attention to detail
 + Solve complex problems
 + Be an independent self-starter who is driven to success, takes great pride in accomplishments and works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and address competing priorities
