 + **Education:** Must have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field at the time of hire.

 + **Technical Skills:**

 + Understanding of data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehousing concepts

 + Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala

 + Experience with SQL for database querying and management

 + Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)

 + Exposure to big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus

 + Awareness of data governance, data quality, and data integrity principles

 + **Courses & Experiences:** Academic coursework, internships, or projects focused on data engineering, analytics, or large-scale data systems.

 + **Well Rounded:** Leadership or involvement in clubs, organizations, hackathons, technical competitions, or research projects.
