They are expected to leverage an understanding of application development theory, concepts and best practices to provide the most ideal solution to the challenges presented. Applications are developed collaboratively; with most teams simultaneously supporting several applications. The Business Software Engineering organization delivers solutions through implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Communication and presentation skills are a necessity as ideas must be regularly shared with team members and business stakeholders (that may require non-technical explanations ). Application developers are expected to develop a basic understanding of the underlying processes that technical solutions are intended to support.
