This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and make a direct impact by keeping our dental teams up and running. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of hands-on IT support experience, a solid grasp of Windows environments, and a passion for solving problems and helping people. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This is a regional, field-based position covering Houston-area Mint Dentistry locations., Experience working in a HIPAA-regulated or healthcare environment. * Familiarity with Active Directory user and device management. * Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, batch). * Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems. * CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certification. * Associate's Degree in an IT-related field. ## Description Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support requests across Houston-area Mint Dentistry locations. * Manage incoming calls, emails, chats, and remote helpdesk tickets from Mint users, ensuring timely and professional responses. * Receive, prioritize, document, and actively resolve end user requests in person, by phone, chat, or email. * Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and clinical workstations. * Monitor the helpdesk ticketing queue and process tickets first-in, first-out based on priority. * Follow up on outstanding requests and adhere to communication and resolution timetables. * Assist with on-boarding of equipment for new employees, including setup of operating systems and standard software. * Perform routine Windows OS updates, patching, and basic security maintenance. * Assist with disposal and retirement of obsolete assets per the site disposal policy. * Travel between Houston-area clinic locations to provide on-site support as needed. * Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT staff in a clear and timely manner. * Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and inventory changes. * Establish and maintain a positive, professional relationship with clinic staff and co-workers. * Stay current with supported systems, applications, and IT procedures.
