## About the Role

* 4+ years' experience in Data Engineering or a similar role
 * Strong SQL and Python development experience
 * Solid experience with Snowflake (essential)
 * Experience building cloud-based data platforms (AWS and/or GCP)
 * Experience working with APIs and integrating multiple data sources
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 * Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
 * Previous mentoring or coaching experience is desirable

## Description

An opportunity to join a highly successful private equity investment firm as they continue to invest in their data platform and engineering capabilities.

You'll play a key role in building and evolving the firm's cloud-based data platform, developing scalable data pipelines, integrating internal and external data sources, and delivering high-quality data that directly supports investment decisions.

This is a hands-on engineering role in a fast-paced environment, working closely with investment, finance and asset management teams. You'll also mentor two junior Data Engineers while owning day-to-day technical delivery., * Design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines and ETL processes

 * Integrate internal and external data sources using APIs and scripting
 * Build and enhance cloud-based data infrastructure using AWS/GCP and SQL
 * Drive automation and continuous improvements across the data platform
 * Ensure data quality, governance and reliability across datasets
 * Develop reporting and analytics solutions to support commercial decision-making
 * Partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
 * Mentor and support two junior Data Engineers
