This includes gathering requirements from users, designing databases and applications, programming, testing applications, implementing applications, training, and supporting users in the use of their applications. This work will involve maintaining superior customer relationships across the section and an understanding of the business functions and the technology components of the department. This includes maintaining and developing applications using: * C#, .NET, Microsoft IIS, SQL, and GitHub * Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban This includes: * Understanding business requirements and translating them into specific software requirements. * General IT architectural principles, technical designs, and specifications. * learning new software systems and programming languages by studying available references and self-paced training. * Communicating verbally and in writing with non-technical clients., The Office of the Secretary serves as the executive leadership arm of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), guiding the Department's mission to improve the health, safety, and well-being of all North Carolinians.
