The ideal candidate will be able to perform desk-side software support utilizing Windows Operating Systems. The person selected to fill this role will be responsible for responding to incoming service requests in a timely manner and following set up procedures for logging, reporting and monitoring datacenter operations., · Ability to work under limited supervision with the ability to clearly articulate what is seen to a remote escalation point., · Experience of working within Data Centers · Must be able to trace cables in rack to server. · Basic knowledge about LAN, WAN, IPMI, Power cables, Patch cables · Must be able to work well both independently and in team settings. · Must have excellent organization and multitasking skills. · Excellent Customer Service skills are a must. · Must have excellent communication and documentation skills. · Basic knowledge or Cisco switches · Must be able to lift 50 lbs. · May be required to walk and or stand for extended periods of time.
