## About the Role

* Professional experience in data engineering, software engineering or a related role involving data systems
 * Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or .NET
 * Hands-on experience building or maintaining data pipelines
 * Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform
 * Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
 * Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
 * Experience with CI/CD practices and tools
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

Nice-to-have

 * Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
 * Google Cloud Data Engineer certification
 * Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
 * Knowledge of data quality frameworks and data requirements gathering
 * Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code solutions
 * Experience in API design or integration between systems
