## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
 * Demonstrable experience with data pipeline development and data infrastructure engineering
 * Proficiency with SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java or similar
 * Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, AWS or GCP
 * Working knowledge of containerisation tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
 * Understanding of data quality principles and best practices
 * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice-to-have

 * Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
 * Google Cloud Data Engineer certification
 * Experience with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC or RISE)
 * Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
 * Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures
 * Knowledge of BPMN or UML for process modelling

## Description

 * Building and maintaining data infrastructure across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP
 * Contributing to data quality analysis and ensuring pipeline alignment with business requirements
 * Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
 * Working with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
 * Supporting the deployment and monitoring of data systems using CI/CD practices
 * Troubleshooting data-related issues and optimising pipeline performance
 * Contributing to the documentation and knowledge sharing across the data engineering team
