This role oversees network maintenance, security, hardware/software management, and LAN/WAN connectivity across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, infrastructure management experience, and hands-on expertise with enterprise networking technologies. This role also requires excellent communication and analytical skills to resolve issues, optimize systems, and support future infrastructure growth. Essential FunctionsNetwork Setup & Maintenance * Install, configure, and manage network hardware including routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls * Maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and related network infrastructure * Monitor network performance and ensure high availability * Support disaster recovery and business continuity operations Security & Access Control * Implement and manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems * Manage user authentication, permissions, and access controls * Conduct regular security audits and apply security patches * Participate in cybersecurity projects and initiatives Troubleshooting & Support * Diagnose and resolve network and helpdesk-related issues * Provide technical support to end users and internal IT teams * Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and incidents Performance Optimization * Analyze network traffic and system utilization to improve efficiency * Recommend and implement infrastructure upgrades and improvements Documentation & Compliance * Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure and changes * Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards * Assist with network scalability and expansion planning Additional Responsibilities The IT department functions as a service-oriented team supporting infrastructure and users across multiple business units. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical expertise along with effective communication and collaboration skills.
