## About the Role

* Strong recent consumer/residential CPE experience.
 * Broadband gateways, home Routers, mesh/Wi-Fi devices.
 * Strong Wi-Fi 6/7 knowledge; Wi-Fi 8 desirable.
 * Experience with CPE OEMs/silicon vendors.
 * RFI/RFP and supplier selection experience.
 * Knowledge of RDK-B, OpenWRT, DOCSIS, XGS-PON or similar technologies.

Important: Generic Network, Cloud or Infrastructure Architects without recent consumer CPE experience will not be suitable.

## Description

* Define CPE architecture, technical specifications and requirements.
 * Lead technical RFI/RFP and supplier evaluation activities.
 * Assess CPE OEM and silicon vendor proposals.
 * Lead supplier workshops and technical PoCs.
 * Develop technical scoring, compliance matrices and recommendations.
 * Work closely with Product, Procurement, Engineering and Technology leadership.
