## About the Role

* HNC or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline
 * Mechanical design experience, including pneumatic equipment and circuit design
 * Strong working knowledge of 2D CAD, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
 * Ability to produce accurate detailed drawings and dimensioning to ISO standards
 * Commissioning and site experience, with strong problem solving skills

## Description

You'll take a design from a sketched idea through to a fully detailed, production ready drawing. Every calculation, tolerance, and standard you apply matters, and your accuracy is what keeps things right first time. This is a role built around genuine problem solving, not just following someone else's spec., As a Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

 * Produce layout, assembly, and detailed drawings from initial concepts through to full completion
 * Hold design reviews and progress designs against key requirements and specifications
 * Apply Design for Manufacture and Value Engineering techniques to ensure a smooth transition into production
 * Select appropriate third party components and produce costing sheets for proposed designs
 * Formulate technical specifications and ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and standards
