## About the Role

* Experience leading IT, business systems or technology functions.

 * Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

 * Exposure to ERP, operational systems or business-critical applications.

 * Experience managing suppliers, MSPs and third-party technology providers.

 * Commercially minded, with the ability to balance risk, cost and business priorities.

 * Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment whilst providing strategic direction.

 * Able to translate business challenges into practical technology solutions.

 * Experience delivering technology change, systems improvements or transformation initiatives.

## Description

We're supporting a growing and ambitious manufacturing group as they invest in technology, systems and operational capability to support the next phase of business growth. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take ownership of a varied technology and business systems estate, helping shape the roadmap, improve processes and ensure technology is aligned to the needs of a fast-evolving business.

This role could suit an experienced IT & Business Systems Manager looking for broader responsibility, or an ambitious technology leader ready to step into their first #1 role and make a genuine impact.

Key Responsibilities

 * Develop and deliver the technology and business systems roadmap.

 * Lead and improve core IT and business systems across multiple sites.

 * Drive system optimisation, process improvement and operational efficiency.

 * Manage and develop relationships with outsourced IT partners, ensuring strong service delivery, accountability and value for money.

 * Define and refine responsibilities between internal teams and third-party technology providers.

 * Own cyber security strategy, governance and risk management.

 * Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

 * Provide leadership to a small internal team whilst coordinating external support partners.

 * Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce manual processes and improve the flow of information across the business.

 * Establish supplier governance, service standards and performance measures.
