## About the Role

* 4+ years as a software engineer building distributed systems.
 * A software engineer who works on infrastructure, writing services and systems rather than only operating or maintaining infrastructure.
 * Strong software engineering fundamentals, with the coding ability to pass a rigorous algorithmic coding screen held to the same bar as product engineers.
 * Demonstrated systems design skill for large distributed systems.
 * Backend development in Golang or a comparable systems language.
 * Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP): deploying, scaling, and monitoring at production scale.
 * Experience building or scaling systems for enterprise-grade traffic or multi-tenant SaaS.
 * Working familiarity with infrastructure tooling such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka (baseline awareness, not deep specialization).

## Description

You will own the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of a platform serving major enterprise customers, while building the tools and systems that let product engineers ship quickly. This is a high-ownership infrastructure role on a small, high-caliber engineering team.

What you'll be doing

 * Own critical infrastructure components and drive architecture decisions with high autonomy.
 * Keep the platform stable, secure, scalable, and performant under enterprise-scale traffic.
 * Build the internal tools, systems, and best practices that product engineers depend on.
 * Partner with leadership, product, and engineering on roadmap and architecture.
 * Work directly with enterprise customers on infrastructure feedback and issues.
