## About the Role

* Basic qualifications for an Engineer include a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 2 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with no experience.
 * Basic qualifications for a Principal Engineer include a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and at least 5 years of experience, a Master's Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience, or a PhD Degree with no experience.
 * Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems
 * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
 * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs., * Active US Government Secret clearance
 * Active Special Program Access (SAP)

## Description

* Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Supplier/Subcontract Manger (SMT) Communications (COMMs) Avionics Subsystem(s)
 * Responsibilities include the ability to manage the program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics COMMs subsystems hardware requirements
 * Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
 * Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
 * Work to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
 * Travel up to 25%

This position may be filled at either the Engineer (Level 2) or Principal Engineer (Level 3) levels, depending upon the qualifications below.
