Our interfaces are embedded web GUIs served directly from hardware devices such as DSP processors, amplifiers, and control systems. These interfaces visualize and control real-time systems, including audio processing (EQ, compression), system configuration, and live device monitoring. You will work on a small, focused project team alongside firmware engineers, a fellow GUI developer, and a product manager to create intuitive, high-performance control interfaces used by professional integrators around the world. This role is on-site, 5 days a week; remote option is not available. We are looking for qualified candidates in the Salt Lake City, UT Market! What You'll Do * Design and develop rich, real-time web-based GUIs using Angular * Build highly interactive interfaces including: * + Audio EQ graphs, meters, and signal visualization + Dynamic control panels for DSP, amplifiers, and system routing + Real-time monitoring dashboards using live data streams * Integrate with device firmware via: * + WebSockets (primary interface for real-time communication) + Custom APIs and messaging systems (including MQTT where applicable) * Collaborate closely with: * + Firmware engineers providing device APIs + Product Managers defining features and workflows + UX designers shaping overall user experience * Create and maintain reusable UI components and libraries * Optimize UI performance for real-time responsiveness and constrained hardware environments * Act as a subject matter expert in frontend technologies, recommending tools, frameworks, and improvements to elevate interface quality * Stay current with modern frontend development trends and best practices ## Related Videos - [UX is a fullstack job!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1020-ux-is-a-fullstack-job) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Transforming Education: A Journey from interactive Markdown to Remote-Labs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/941-transforming-education-a-journey-from-interactive-markdown-to-remote-labs) - [The Resilience of the World Wide Web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1281-the-resilience-of-the-world-wide-web) - [Raise your voice!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/10-raise-your-voice) - [Microfrontends at Scale](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/236-microfrontends-at-scale) ## Related Articles - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [Dev Digest 133 - Back to Front](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/474-dev-digest-133-back-to-front) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Dev Digest 113 - Debugging above the cloud](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/422-dev-digest-113-debugging-above-the-cloud)
