 * Windows Server, DNS and DHCP
 * RHEL/Linux fundamentals
 * NFS and Isilon storage
 * Cloud Volumes and vGPU
 * Amazon WorkSpaces
 * VDI Master Image creation and software installation
 * ServiceNow and Rally
 * VDI troubleshooting and infrastructure support, * 4-10 years of relevant IT/Infrastructure experience.
 * Minimum 3 years of hands-on Windows VDI experience.
 * Strong VMware virtualization and VDI administration experience.
 * Strong troubleshooting and infrastructure support skills.
 * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
 * Ability to work 100% onsite in Schenectady, NY.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Virtual Analyst / VMware Engineer to design, administer, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware VDI infrastructure in a 100% onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with VMware Horizon, vCenter, vSphere, ESXi, Windows VDI, networking, storage, and virtual desktop administration., * Design, build, administer, and maintain VMware VDI environments.

 * Create, configure, and maintain VDI master images and virtual machines.
 * Administer VMware Horizon, vCenter, vSphere, ESXi, DRS, HA, and vMotion.
 * Perform VMware migrations, upgrades, patches, and system maintenance.
 * Install software, service packs, security updates, and application components within VDI environments.
 * Manage NFS/Isilon storage, exports, monitoring, alerts, and job failures.
 * Troubleshoot Windows, VDI, networking, application, and virtualization issues.
 * Support VDI deployments, server repairs/replacements, and software rollouts.
 * Track incidents, requests, and assigned activities using ServiceNow and Rally.
