## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
 * 7+ years of progressive network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
 * Advanced hands-on experience with Cisco networking platforms, including ISE, WLC, 802.1X, and VPN technologies.
 * Strong expertise with LAN/WAN architectures and dynamic routing (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP).
 * Proficiency supporting Windows Server, Windows client networks, and Linux-based systems.
 * Demonstrated experience with DNS, DHCP, certificates, and core network services.
 * Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and network hardening.
 * Current Cisco CCNA certification required.
 * Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work in varied environments.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Cisco CCNP, CCNP Security, or equivalent advanced certifications.
 * Experience with Windows Server 2019 or newer.
 * Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as NIST, PCI, SOX, or FISMA.
 * Virtualization experience is a plus.

## Description

Position Summary: The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization's enterprise network with a strong focus on Cisco technologies. This role oversees advanced network security controls, access solutions, and infrastructure reliability across all sites., * Design, deploy, and optimize Cisco network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, WLCs, and related technologies.

 * Lead administration of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and 802.1X authentication for wired and wireless access.
 * Manage and support dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP), site-to-site and remote-access VPNs, WAN connectivity, and hybrid cloud network integrations (including secure connectivity to cloud providers).
 * Maintain network availability, security, and performance through proactive monitoring, lifecycle planning, and capacity forecasting.
 * Implement and enforce network security controls, segmentation strategies, and secure configuration baselines.
 * Collaborate with IT and security leadership to design network architectures and present proposed solutions.
 * Serve as technical lead for infrastructure projects, upgrades, and enterprise network initiatives.
 * Provide advanced troubleshooting support for escalated incidents.
 * Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, inventory, and operational procedures.
 * Participate in on call; occasional travel to remote sites as needed.
