## About the Role

* Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
 * Knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
 * Strong knowledge of quality tools and root cause methodologies.

 * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection data.
 * Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced production environment.

## Description

* Lead daily Quality Clinic activities including defect review, product evaluation, and nonconformance disposition.
 * Prioritize and coordinate cross-functional actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
 * Conduct structured root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions using 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, PFMEA, and 5-Why methodologies.
 * Maintain accurate defect records, metrics, and quality documentation in accordance with QMS requirements.
 * Analyze quality data (DPPM, escape rates, defect trends) and develop targeted improvement plans.
 * Support supplier quality efforts related to incoming inspection, supplier defects, and SCAR follow-up.
 * Implement containment actions for escapes, suspect lots, and high-risk nonconformities.
 * Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and operations leadership to improve processes and reduce variation.
 * Provide coaching on quality standards, inspection requirements, and best practices.
 * Participate in internal audits, customer/regulatory audits, and AS9100 compliance activities.
