We power the infrastructure that helps members and employer groups understand, manage, and share healthcare costs through transparent, flexible programs. We are a small, product-led team building the rails behind a fast-growing HealthShare platform. You will work directly with the founders, learn fast, and ship to production every week on systems that touch real members, real dollars, and real care decisions. What You'll Do * Build features end-to-end alongside the founders - schema, API, UI, and email/notification flows - with guidance and code review on the harder pieces. * Work in our Next.js 16 + Supabase + Vercel stack and learn each layer deeply over time. * Contribute to our Supabase backend: writing migrations, helping design Row-Level Security policies, and shipping Edge Functions for background tasks. * Integrate third-party APIs (identity, payment, document, partner systems) with attention to retries, idempotency, and error handling. * Help build and maintain transactional email flows in Resend. * Ship continuously to Vercel with preview URLs for every PR. * Use Cursor and AI-assisted workflows as part of your daily toolkit - we expect you to lean on them while still owning what gets merged. * Pick up the conventions of a healthcare platform handling sensitive data: testing, observability, audit logging, and operational discipline. Tech You'll Work With * Frontend - Next.js 16 (App Router), React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Radix. * Backend - Supabase (Postgres, Auth, RLS, Edge Functions, Storage, Realtime). * Deployment - Vercel (preview + prod), GitHub Actions for CI. * Tooling - Cursor, GitHub, pnpm, Turborepo, Playwright, Vitest. * Compliance context - HIPAA-aligned engineering and healthcare privacy best practices; you don't need to know HIPAA today, you'll learn what matters on the job. ## Related Videos - [Build and Deploy a Fullstack App with Open Source Tooling](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/775-build-and-deploy-a-fullstack-app-with-open-source-tooling) - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Meet Your New BFF: Backend to Frontend without the Duct Tape](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/682-meet-your-new-bff-backend-to-frontend-without-the-duct-tape) - [Bringing AI Model Testing and Prompt Management to Your Codebase with GitHub Models](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1536-bringing-ai-model-testing-and-prompt-management-to-your-codebase-with-github-models) - [Git for Code Reviews](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/429-git-for-code-reviews) ## Related Articles - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 131 - AI'm not sure about OSS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/472-dev-digest-131-ai-m-not-sure-about-oss) - [Dev Digest 139 - Soft and hard queries](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/487-dev-digest-139-soft-and-hard-queries) - [Dev Digest 159: AI Pipelines, 10x Faster TypeScript, How to Interview](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/563-dev-digest-159-ai-pipelines-10x-faster-typescript-how-to-interview)
