## About the Role

* Experience within Local Government or the wider public sector, with an understanding of ICT governance, ITIL, and digital transformation programmes
 * Proven experience managing ICT service delivery or ICT operations within a complex organisation
 * Demonstrable success delivering ICT projects, service improvements, and organisational change initiatives
 * Experience leading customer-focused ICT teams and working across multiple technical disciplines, including infrastructure, service desk, security, and applications
 * Strong background in supplier, contract, and stakeholder management, with the ability to build effective working relationships, * UK Address History: 3 years (required)

## Description

We're looking for an experienced ICT Service Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of reliable, secure and internal customer-focused technology services at the heart of a forward-thinking local authority. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of operational ICT services, lead service improvement initiatives and play a pivotal role in delivering technology that supports essential services for our communities.

Joining at a time of significant organisational change, you'll help shape the future of ICT service delivery while working closely with senior leaders, technical specialists and key stakeholders across the authority.

The role offers hybrid working but does require 3 days on site in Loughborough., * Lead the day-to-day delivery of ICT services, ensuring high levels of system availability, service performance, and customer satisfaction

 * Manage and deliver ICT projects and service improvement initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
 * Provide leadership across ICT operations, working collaboratively with infrastructure, service desk, security, development, and information governance teams.
 * Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, translating business needs into effective ICT solutions while managing third-party suppliers and contracts
 * Ensure ICT services comply with governance, security, risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements
 * Support the management of ICT budgets, procurement activities, and resource planning to deliver value for money
 * Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and digital transformation to enhance ICT services and support organisational objectives
