LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business communications, financial reports, legal documents, and some government reports. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. ## Description SUMMARY: The IS Manager is responsible for the implementation, coordination, evaluation, and standardization of the Information Systems department. The IS Manager works closely with department leaders to understand technology needs and recommend solutions. The IS Manager will provide daily leadership and direction to the IS Department staff. This role also participates in the protection of all data and the planning and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Exceptional customer service, written, and oral communication skills are required. The Information Systems Manager must uphold the philosophy and mission of California Aeronautical University while instilling positive and progressive attitudes in all employees. JOB REQUIREMENTS include but are not limited to the following: COMPLIANCE: * Responsible for compliance with all local, state, accreditation and federal regulations. * Ensure that all employees and students are held accountable to the company's policies and procedures and applicable laws. * Ensure completeness, accuracy, and security of campus files, documents and reports. * Direct, train and review necessary policies and procedures with employees to ensure a culture of compliance.
