## About the Role

* Someone with a strong technical background with an understanding of software architecture, modern development approaches and development best practices.
 * Experience in Android Kotlin, Node, React, Cypress, Angular (optional), GitHub, AWS, Claude Code and Codex.
 * An excellent communicator who has excellent verbal and written English. You'll be communicating with end-users as well as developers.
 * Someone organised, a self-starter. You'll need to deal with several competing priorities in this role and you'll be expected to research and resolve issues yourself.
 * Patient and good at explaining things simply. You'll need to learn our domain and explain business requirements to developers and technical issues to business users.
 * Adaptable - we need someone who is comfortable working in a fast paced tech start-up environment.
 * At least 4 years experience in a similar role., * Bachelor's (required), * commercial Android Kotlin development: 3 years (required)

## Description

This role is about developing our products to make charities more successful in fundraising. There are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop your skills in this role in a fast-paced tech start-up environment.

What you'll be doing:

 * Developing new features for the Dona platform
 * Fixing bugs that arise in the system
 * Writing unit and system tests
 * Reviewing code of other developers in the team
 * Getting involved in the full development lifecycle of changes
