This role oversees network deployment, fiber infrastructure, copper infrastructure, service delivery, field operations, subcontractor management, compliance, and customer support activities. The ISP Manager ensures operational excellence, network reliability, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards while leading technicians, splicers, and support personnel., ISP Operations & Service Delivery * Manage daily ISP operations, ensuring reliable service delivery, network availability, and customer satisfaction. * Achieve operational objectives by implementing production plans, resolving operational challenges, and preparing and executing corrective action plans. * Forecast project timelines, labor requirements, and resource allocation for network deployments, maintenance, and customer projects. * Coordinate and support 24/7 operational response activities, including outage restoration and field support escalation. * Monitor operational KPIs and service metrics to ensure compliance with customer and contractual service level agreements (SLAs). * Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and service quality. Fiber Network Infrastructure Management * Oversee fiber optic network construction, maintenance, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting activities for both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) environments. * Review and validate fiber designs, one-line diagrams, fiber trees, splice documentation, and network construction packages. * Provide technical oversight for fiber pathway preparation, route planning, and infrastructure deployment. * Ensure proper testing, certification, and documentation of fiber installations. * Troubleshoot complex fiber infrastructure and connectivity issues and coordinate resolution activities. Copper Network Infrastructure Management * Oversee copper network construction, maintenance, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting activities for both Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) environments. * Review and validate structured cabling designs, plans, shop drawings, pathways, MDF/IDF buildouts, and network construction packages. * Provide technical oversight for fiber and copper pathway preparation, route planning, and infrastructure deployment. * Ensure proper testing, certification, and documentation of fiber and copper installations. * Troubleshoot complex fiber and copper infrastructure and connectivity issues and coordinate resolution activities. Financial & Resource Management * Meet financial objectives by forecasting operational requirements, managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions. * Assist with budgeting, workforce planning, material forecasting, and project cost control. * Optimize resource utilization across technicians, subcontractors, and support teams. Team Leadership & Workforce Management * Lead, mentor, and manage telecommunications technicians, fiber splicers, and subcontractor resources. * Schedule personnel and resources to support multiple projects and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and workforce development activities. * Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence. Customer & Stakeholder Support * Serve as a primary operational point of contact for customers regarding project status, service issues, maintenance activities, and outage communications. * Provide timely updates and clear communication regarding work progress and service restoration efforts. * Support customer satisfaction initiatives through proactive communication and issue resolution. * Collaborate with internal departments, government stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution.
