## About the Role

Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Customer communication?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proven experience with diverse hardware and software

 * Ability to adapt, integrate and modify existing programs or vendor supplied package programs for use with existing information systems
 * Demonstrated skills working with communication systems and networks
 * Excellent customer service skills
 * Ability to work on multiple projects independently and with minimal supervision
 * Proven ability to communicate instructions and troubleshooting processes to internal customers

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

 * Bachelor's degree in related field. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

EXPERIENCE:
Two years of experience in work-related field.
OTHER:

 * Must possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.

## Description

* Provides technical assistance and training on computer and communication systems and software applications, etc. to center staff.
 * Identifies communication systems, computer hardware, and software problems and monitors those problems until they are resolved. Assists staff with application problems and respond to and resolve end user technical problems.
 * Assist in the installation and maintenance of new computers, networks, software applications, and communication systems equipment.
 * Develops job aids, checklists, training and resource materials for tasks performed in software.
 * Keeps an inventory and library of approved software.
 * Insures technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.
 * Works with Job Corps Data Center personnel and the Corporate IS Manager on matters relating to systemic problems, modifications, or improvements.
 * Ensures the accountability of all computers and related items.
 * Assists in mentoring students interested in information technology careers.

 * Hearing and speaking to express ideas and/or exchange information in person or over the telephone
 * Seeing to read labels, posters, documents, PC screens, etc.

 * Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment
 * Kneeling, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching overhead
 * Retrieving and storing files and supplies; occasionally carrying and/or lifting light objects
