We care about your foundation and attitude, not which path you took to get here - A strong work ethic and reliability - you show up, you follow through, and you take ownership of your work - Comfortable with everyday technology and willing to learn systems you haven't used before - Self-motivated - you look things up, ask good questions, and take initiative instead of waiting to be told - Clear, professional, and patient communication with people of all technical comfort levels - Able to work on-site full-time - this role is not remote or hybrid - Willingness to pursue industry certifications (such as CompTIA A+ or Network+) as part of your growth here Nice to Have (Not Required) - Prior internship, help desk, or customer service experience - Class projects, labs, or personal projects in networking, security, or systems administration - Hands-on experience building, repairing, or troubleshooting computers or home networks, We hire for humble, hungry, and smart - and for this role, hungry matters most. If you're the type who takes something apart just to see how it works, and who finishes a shift wanting to learn one more thing, we want to hear from you. ## Description Answer inbound support tickets and calls, and resolve common issues like password resets, printer problems, software installs, and basic connectivity troubleshooting - Set up new workstations and support onboarding and offboarding tasks - Document your work clearly and escalate more complex issues to Level 2 with good notes - Learn our tools, procedures, and ticketing system, and build toward handling more on your own over time - Build hands-on skills in Windows, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and basic networking with guidance from senior technicians - Provide friendly, patient support to end users, including people who aren't comfortable with technology ## Related Videos - [Personal Branding & Job Search - The Most Practical Approach You'll Ever Find](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/576-personal-branding-job-search-the-most-practical-approach-you-ll-ever-find) - [Cryptographic agility for a post-quantum future: Falcon signatures in TypeScript](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100090-cryptographic-agility-for-a-post-quantum-future-falcon-signatures-in-typescript) - [Fake or News: Translating Dog Barks, Notepad Gets an Upgrade and Michelin-Star Robots - Paul Tregoing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1802-fake-or-news-translating-dog-barks-notepad-gets-an-upgrade-and-michelin-star-robots-paul-tregoing) - [Checkmate: 5 Real Incidents That Can End a Software Company](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100126-checkmate-5-real-incidents-that-can-end-a-software-company) - [My journey into DevOps world - How it all started!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/545-my-journey-into-devops-world-how-it-all-started) - [How Lufthansa Industry Solutions is preparing for the Quantum Age! ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1443-how-lufthansa-industry-solutions-is-preparing-for-the-quantum-age) ## Related Articles - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [System change: restart as developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/39-system-change-restart-as-developer) - [First Steps For Getting Into Tech](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/95-first-steps-for-getting-into-tech) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [Steps to Get a Software Engineer Internship](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/160-steps-to-get-a-software-engineer-internship) - [Tips on mastering remote job interviews](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/23-tips-on-mastering-remote-job-interviews)
