Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Sentinel LS Systems Engineering Section Manager 2 - 19374 - **Company:** Northrop Grumman - **Location:** Roy, UT, United States - **Salary:** $139,100.0 - $208,700.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Agile Methodology, Systems Engineering, Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP (Applications), DOORS (Software), Atlassian Tools - **Published:** August 3, 2026 - **Apply:** https://dejobs.org/x/x/75A69C5A741040A5A2AA2097D415D369/job/ ## About the Role * Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8+ years of related technical experience or Masters Degree with 6+ years of related experience * At least 1 year experience of Control Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM). * 2 years of Systems Engineering and/or Integration & Test experience. * Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years. * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time (< 1 yr), as determined by the company, to meet its business needs. * Experience generating and/or reviewing cost estimates, BOE documentation, or ROM development These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * CAM Certification. 2 years EVMS experience. * Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. * 4+ years of both Systems Engineering AND integration and test processes. * Experience with the following tools: CAMEO, DOORS, Confluence, JIRA, MS Project, and Primavera. * Demonstrated experience or roles leading technical teams, a project and/or driving performance against schedule. * An understanding of Earned Value (EV) methodologies and their role in the work performed. * Demonstrated work experience developing proposal inputs. * Experience with Agile development using Atlassian Products such as JIRA, Confluence, etc. * Ability to operate independently with little to no supervision, and the ability to establish a solid working relationship with technical staff, peers, and customers. * Demonstrated work experience with support equipment, sustainment activities, ICBM programs and/or strategic weapons programs. * Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SAP, and/or SCI access. ## Description Perform as the control account manager (CAM) for the entire Support Equipment Operating Unit (OU) SEIT organization scope, managing a 1500-line Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), managing at least 8 control accounts, and hundreds of millions of dollars in scope. The CAM would understand the tasks each team is performing, ensure EVMS compliance, and build relationships between the team, segment leadership, and the business management office. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the full cost account lifecycle including managing EAC, risks, change board packages, rolling waves, presenting to leadership, writing VARs and other CAM activities. In addition to the primary CAM role, this role will often be asked to lead a small team performing special engineering initiatives to investigate efficiencies or perform short-term high-priority work, such as lead rough order-of-magnitude (ROM) and basis of estimate (BOE) development. This position is a dual-role manager position, involving balancing both the overall functional oversight and management of a Systems Engineering group of up to 10 engineers while maintaining a technical baseline of performance on program work. The candidate will spend ~20% of their time on functional/organizational support and ~80% of their time on systems engineering technical program work. Functional management involves, but is not limited to, organizational administrative activities and helping employees' performance and career development through guidance and training.
