## About the Role

* Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
 * Experience Dynatrace for application monitoring and performance tuning
 * Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for project and pipeline management
 * Several years of experience as an IT Operations Manager / Applications Manager for Business-critical IT-Applications
 * Strong knowledge of ITIL, ServiceNow, JIRA, Azure DevOps and Confluence
 * Expertise in Cloud and container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and CI/CD processes including VM provisioning
 * Excellent communication and leadership skills; fluent in English (German is a plus)
 * Problem-solving mindset and ability to make quick decisions under pressure
 * Strong customer and service orientation

Your target goal

 * Ensure 24/7 availability of a global business-critical application: You are responsible for the 24/7 operations for the Global Crew Management System of 6 Carnival Brands; System is used on > 60 ships and 6 Carnival Brands for Crew Planning and Payroll
 * Implement, own and continuously improve Incident, Problem and Change Management processes oriented on ITIL standards and in close cooperation with user organizations as well as Software Delivery Organizations
 * Coordinate service providers and internal teams for helpdesk, infrastructure, and application support.
 * Oversee monitoring and performance optimization of the application and related infrastructure (Cloud, Containers, CI/CD pipelines)
 * Ensure compliance and security, including regular audits (SOX) and disaster recovery testing
 * Stakeholder management: Collaborate closely with business units, software delivery teams, and external partners
 * Manage budget and resource planning for operational activities
