We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Scrum Master for a full-time position., * At least three years of experience leading Agile development processes. * At least three years of experience facilitating and enabling Agile principles and practices within software-development teams. * Demonstrated experience facilitating sprint planning, daily Scrum meetings, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. * Experience working with product owners, development teams, testers, technical leads, and project managers. * Experience supporting product backlogs, user stories, acceptance criteria, estimation, and sprint-capacity planning. * Experience identifying impediments and facilitating their resolution. * Experience using an Agile lifecycle-management tool such as Jira. * Experience tracking and reporting sprint velocity, throughput, defects, carryover, capacity, and delivery progress. * Strong facilitation, communication, coaching, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management skills. * Ability to work during the Government's required Eastern Time business hours., * Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, or comparable credential. * Experience supporting federal IT modernization programs. * Experience with enterprise application-development teams using Angular, TypeScript, Java, .NET, or Oracle. * Experience supporting DevSecOps and automated testing environments. * Experience integrating security, accessibility, testing, documentation, and release requirements into Agile backlogs. * Experience using Jira dashboards, reports, filters, workflows, and required-field configurations. * Experience with Confluence, Git, ServiceNow, Teams, or SharePoint. * Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG accessibility requirements. * Experience with distributed or fully remote Agile teams. * Experience supporting firm-fixed-price software-development engagements. * Experience with legacy application modernization and production-release coordination ## Description The Scrum Master will lead and facilitate Agile software-development processes for the MSHA MSIS/MCAS modernization program. The individual will support development teams responsible for modernizing the Qualification and Certification, Miner Identification Number, and Issuance systems. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, promote consistent Agile practices, remove impediments, improve team collaboration, maintain delivery visibility, and help ensure that the backlog, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint plans, and delivery metrics support successful software releases. The candidate must demonstrate at least three years of experience leading Agile development processes and enabling the successful implementation of Agile principles and practices within software-development teams.
