## About the Role

You will be an experienced software engineer with strong technical leadership skills and a background delivering complex software solutions., * Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

 * Significant experience in a senior software engineering or technical leadership role.
 * Strong understanding of software architecture and modern development practices.
 * Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
 * Ability to define system and software requirements.
 * Knowledge of software quality, safety principles and secure software development.
 * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Experience

Experience with several of the following technologies is desirable:

 * C++
 * Python
 * JavaScript
 * HTML, CSS, XML and JSON
 * Windows and Linux development
 * Backend technologies (Node.js, Django or similar)
 * Docker and containerisation
 * TCP/IP networking and WebSockets
 * SQL and database technologies
 * Software debugging and diagnostic tools
 * Cyber security principles

Desirable

Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

 * Real-time or distributed systems
 * Control or automation software
 * Qt or .NET GUI development
 * Messaging frameworks (e.g. RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)
 * REST APIs and web services
 * Video or media streaming technologies

The role is available 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Software Technical Lead to drive the delivery of advanced software projects and provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering teams., * Lead the software delivery of complex engineering projects.

 * Define software architectures for integrated systems.
 * Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Translate system requirements into software solutions.
 * Ensure software meets quality, safety and performance standards.
 * Provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to engineering teams.
 * Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
 * Support project planning, effort estimation and continuous improvement initiatives.
