This is not a traditional data-entry role. The ideal candidates will be technically inclined, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to learn new systems and processes quickly. Specific Skills Needed: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Comfortable working with electronic data files and data-intensive processes * Ability to identify, research, and troubleshoot data discrepancies or processing errors * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to learn technical systems and processes quickly * Strong organizational and time-management skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment * Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Top 3-5 Mandatory/Minimum Requirements: * Demonstrated experience working with data, file processing, EDI, eligibility, enrollment, or another technical/transactional environment * Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data inconsistencies * Basic to intermediate Excel skills * Ability to troubleshoot issues and follow documented technical processes * Ability to work independently while meeting production deadlines and service expectations Top 3-5 Desirable Attributes/Qualifications: * Previous EDI or electronic file-processing experience * Experience with healthcare eligibility, enrollment, benefits, insurance, or similar data * Familiarity with eligibility file formats, including ANSI 834, is a plus * Experience working in a high-volume production environment * Strong technical aptitude and curiosity when researching problems Required Level/Years of Experience/Education: I am flexible regarding a specific degree. Relevant hands-on experience and technical aptitude are more important for this assignment. Ideally, candidates would have 1-3+ years of experience in a data-processing, EDI, eligibility/enrollment, operations, or similarly technical role. Candidates with less direct experience may still be considered if they demonstrate strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to learn technical processes quickly. ## Description The EDI Data Analyst will provide seasonal production support within EyeMed"s Membership Operations team, primarily supporting electronic eligibility file processing.
