This role builds and manages the software platforms, data pipelines, computational infrastructure, and machine learning systems required to support AI-enabled cancer research and clinical outcome optimization initiatives.The AI/ML Engineer works at the intersection of machine learning engineering, multimodal data integration, foundation models, generative AI, biomedical data science, and cancer research. This position collaborates closely with AI Data Scientists, clinicians, and informaticians to translate innovative AI methodologies into robust, reproducible, and institutionally scalable solutions for oncology applications.Other related duties as assigned by appropriate Leadership., Licensure Certification Needed: No Minimum Licensure: Minimum Licensure (Other): Training Required: Strong software engineering and programming skills in Python.Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning and deep learning applications using PyTorch, Hugging Face, or similar AI/ML frameworks.Experience building scalable data processing pipelines and workflows for large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.Experience developing APIs, software services, and reusable components that support AI applications and data-intensive workloads.Experience with machine learning operations (MLOps), including model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, experiment tracking, and version control.Experience working with Linux-based development environments.Experience using Git, collaborative software development practices, and modern AI-assisted coding tools.Experience developing and supporting AI/ML systems in HPC, cloud, GPU, or distributed computing environments.Experience with containerization and deployment technologies such as Docker or similar platforms.Experience developing, deploying, and supporting production-quality AI systems and software infrastructure. Salary Range $131,892.80 - $201,052.80 Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
