## About the Role

We are seeking a Jr Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java J2EE, PySpark/Spark, AWS services, and Agile delivery and a proven ability to design, build, and operate resilient ETL and streaming data pipelines in cloud environments., * Proficiency in Java J2EE application development and common design techniques.

 * Extensive hands-on experience with PySpark/Spark and ETL/streaming pipelines.
 * Experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
 * Advanced proficiency in one or more languages such as Python or Java.
 * Understanding of CI/CD, TDD, cloud development, application resiliency, and security.
 * Working knowledge across software engineering disciplines including analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
 * 4-5+ years of applied software engineering experience with relevant training or certification.

Preferred Skills:

 * Experience with Shell scripting on Unix systems.
 * Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
 * Familiarity with modern LLM techniques and practical LLM use case development on OpenAI Azure.

## Description

* Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve Java J2EE and data pipeline solutions.
 * Build and support ETL and streaming pipelines using PySpark/Spark.
 * Leverage AWS services including SQS, Lambda, S3, and RDS for application and data workflows.
 * Apply Agile practices and participate in ceremonies to deliver incremental value.
