Essential Professional Certifications ITIL 4 Foundation ITIL 4 Practitioner: Change Enablement ITIL 4 Practice Manager: Monitor, Support & Fulfil ## Description As Change & Release Manager, you will play a critical role in enabling the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of digital, data and technology change across Wiltshire Police. You will lead governance for technical change and release activity, ensuring innovation and service improvement are delivered at pace while protecting operational resilience. Working across multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and senior stakeholders, you will help shape a culture of safe change, continuous improvement and service excellence that supports the future of digital policing. What you will be doing Lead end-to-end change and release management, ensuring changes to live DDaT services are safely assessed, authorised, scheduled and deployed. Act as the authority for technical change decisions, balancing service improvement, risk, value and operational stability. Chair and govern the Change Advisory Board (CAB), ensuring proportionate, risk-based decision making and effective oversight of change activity. Coordinate complex releases across technologies, services and suppliers, managing dependencies to protect service reliability and user experience. Oversee release readiness and go-live assurance, ensuring services are operationally ready, documented and supportable. Maintain accurate change and configuration records to support impact assessment, service management and operational resilience. Use performance data and service insight to improve change success rates, reduce risk and drive continual improvement.
